WHO WE ARE
Developing Legal Minds at UT Dallas
The Law & Trial Association (LTA) is a student organization at UT Dallas dedicated to connecting students with the legal world, regardless of major or career path.
We give students real exposure to the field through events like alumni and lawyer panels, LSAT prep, and our Intramural Mock Trial Competition. Looking ahead, we're expanding with case competitions, law firm tours, and more networking opportunities to help you build connections and confidence before you ever set foot in a courtroom.
Whether you're pre-law or just curious about the legal field, LTA has a place for you.

GET INVOLVED
The LTA Ambassador Program
Ambassadors are LTA members who support the officer board and work their way toward leadership positions on it. The program is how we keep growing, and how incoming UTD students get a real leadership platform inside LTA. It runs through the three committees below.
Fundraising
Bring in the money that pays for our competitions, panels, and socials. Build sponsor relationships with local firms and run the drives that keep LTA funded.
Marketing
Own how LTA looks and sounds. Run our social accounts, design what goes out before every event, and grow the audience that shows up to them.
Events
Put our calendar together and make it happen. Book the rooms, line up the speakers, and run attorney panels, workshops, and the intramural competition on the day.
Meet the Team
LTA is run by a team of passionate UTD students committed to building the premier pre law community on campus.
